Victoria Point is located on the shores of Moreton Bay, on a headland at the northern end of Redlands Bay, overlooking Coochiemudlo Island and North Stradbroke Island. Victoria Point is a beautiful residential and holiday centre with a relaxed and friendly holiday atmosphere. Victoria Point is the departure point for the ferry to Moreton Bay's Coochiemudlo Island and the other islands nearby. Regular passenger ferries and vehicle barges leave every half an hour from the Victoria Point Jetty. Victoria Point has several environmental reserves, including the Eprapah Environmental Centre and Point Halloran Conservation Reserve where you can see koalas in the wild, and enjoy the many bushwalking tracks. Egret Colony Wetlands is home for a diverse array of birdlife. There is a wide range of holiday accommodation on the waterfront and beachfront at Redland Bay and Victoria Point. Sport is a popular pastime in Redland Bay with tennis courts, a beautiful golf course and a amateur fishing club located in the community. Walkers and cyclists enjoy the many tracks dotted throughout the area through parks and along the foreshore. Redland Bay is the gateway to North Stradbroke Island, one of the largest sand islands in the world, along with smaller islands in Moreton Bay offering secluded beaches, tranquillity and great fishing. From Redland Bay you can catch regular vehicle ferry and barge services departing for North Stradbroke Island, Russell Island, Lamb Island, Macleay Island and Karragarra Island.
