The small rural town and holiday centre of Springbrook is surrounded by the magnificent Springbrook National Park and is located in the Gold Coast Hinterland in the Gold Coast Region of Southern Queensland. There are some fantastic scenic lookouts and wonderful bushwalks in Springbrook National Park, as well as lots of birds and wildlife and plenty of things to see and do in this magnificent area. Springbrook National Park lies between Lamington National Park and the coast. There are many fantastic waterfalls including the famous Purlingbrook Falls and Goomoolahra Falls. Nearby is the fascinating natural feature of Natural Bridge that is within the Natural Bridge National Park, which also has many fantastic walking trails. You can take the one kilometre walk that passes through the amazing Natural Arch and see the glow worm cave at Cave Creek. You can also go swimming in the wonderfully clear and refreshing Waringa Pool which lies at the base of the creek. You should also see the spectacular views south that extend to Mt Warning in NSW. You can also visit the nearby Numinbah Valley and Advancetown. While in the area you should also take a trip to see the Springbrook Homestead with its fantastic observatory. Springbrook is a beautiful place to stay with hostels, guesthouses and other accommodation in the area. It is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore all the many attractions and activities in the area.
